Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived to a musical family 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the cousin of daughter to singing superstar Dionne. As a young girl, Houston started singing professionally in the church choir. She sang backing vocals for Chaka Khosns 1978 single Im Every Woman with her mom. Then, she performed backing vocals to Lou Rawls & Jermaine jackson and her mother. In 1981, she began singing with the New York-based funk group Material. It was her high-quality vocal performance of this group that attracted interest of recording labels such as Arista. Her debut album Whitney Houston was released in 1985, and was the most-seller album of an artist who was a rookie. It featured a number of hits including How Will I know You Give Good Love Saving all My Love For you and The Greatest Love of All. It was instrumental in her achieving seven US chart-topping singles consecutively, a feat that beat the Beatles. The album sold three million copies in its initial season in the US and then went on to achieve a worldwide sales of 25 million, earning them the first six Grammys. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney featuring the hit songs The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was her 1992 movie The Bodyguard (1992) that made her one of the best-selling artists in history. Although the film and her performance in it were not highly praised the soundtrack album and her rendition to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You topped the charts of albums and singles for months, and was sold at 44 million copies around the world. In 1993, it was also that she married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist who gave the sole child of her marriage, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Around this time that her widely documented usage of drugs began. By 1996 she was a daily addict.

Dana Bash, also known by the name Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American journalist and anchorwoman who works as a political correspondent at CNN. Her previous work included NBC, CBS and other notable channels. She also produces the CNN's weekend shows like Evans & Novak Late Edition and Inside Politics. Bash is the recipient of several awards and honours. Elle magazine once listed her in the Women in Washington Power List. Bash is renowned for her incredible anchoring/reporting abilities and she's admired by young journalists. Her only child is the pride of her life. She's been got married twice. She's currently unmarried. Bash is a fan of her fans and her fans with all her heart.
